Wendy is the teaching director on the Gwydir Mobile Children's Service. Travelling over 1,000 kilometres per week, Wendy delivers a quality early childhood service to families isolated by distance, poor roads and small enrolments. Wendy works with nine committees, seven staff, four councils and seven communities. She has a Masters in Education with the thesis topic on developing a peaceful classroom. Wendy has a Children's Week Award, a Certificate in Conflict Resolution and a Certificate in Nursing. Her passions are family, pets, amateur theatre and armchair sport.
Vicki is the director of The Outback Mobiles Resourcing Unit in Broken Hill and has been involved with mobile services for 23 years and directly associated with MCSA for about 10. Vicki has held a number of positions on the committee, including Regional Rep, Vice President and eventually MCSA's President. Vicki brings a humours personality to the MCSA Committee. She is passionate about mobile services and early childhood education.
Sharon has a history with Mobile Services and has previously held positions on the MCSA board. Sharon has completed a Bachelor of Education and worked in the early childhood field for 15 years, with 12 years on a mobile service. Sharon strongly believes in the importance of mobile services in the Early Childhood sector.
Leanne has been employed with Hunter Mobile Preschool since January 1993 where she has increased knowledge and skills in the Early Childhood Sector, gaining her diploma in Children’s Services in 2007. Belonging to the MCSA committee has provided an opportunity to learn so many new skills. The support of her family and workplace has given her the opportunity to grow within our organisation, stepping into the secretary role in 2014.
Susan Pancaldi has been the Manager of Gubi Gabun Childrens Mobile Service Inc. (based in Armidale) since August 2015. Her aim and that of the service is to ensure all isolated and disadvantaged children, families and communities within the region have fair and equal access to quality children’s services.Suzi is married and has 3 children; Frankie, Vinnie and Lola. She enjoys playing & listening to Music, Dancing, Pretending, Watching Clouds, Reading and Painting & gluing stuff on paper ... mostly with children.Having worked in early childcare since 2010, Suzi is passionate about leading her team and facilitating educational sessions in the region. Suzi has a particular interest in additional needs and inclusive practice in early childhood education.
